The painting of the "Visitation" was created by the artist, Mary Southard, CSJ.  (Mary is a member of the Congregation of St. Joseph.)

The picture depicts the story of Mary visiting her cousin Elizabeth. (Luke 1:39-56). In the Scriptures Mary prays the beautiful prayer which we call the Magnificat. Read more about this picture >

Cost: $35 (includes lunch, snacks,

                   handouts)

Time: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Presenter: Kathryn Damiano

You are invited to reflect upon the experience of Holy Saturday that captures the space between death and resurrection. It is a time of expectant waiting, of unknowing, that calls forth radical trust. We stand as if in the limen of a doorway, on the threshold of Mystery. How might we cooperate with God more fully in being formed in this in- between place in any season of our lives?                                               More >

The Magnificat Center is a sponsored ministry of the Congregation of St. Joseph. Rooted in the prayer of Jesus, "That all may be one, as we are one," (Jn. 17:22b), The Magnificat Center promotes the charism and mission of the Sisters of the Congregation of St. Joseph in working for unity and reconciliation among all our neighbors without distinction and with all creation by fostering an atmosphere for spiritual, physical and emotional wholeness and healing in an environment of prayer, hospitality and peace.

A donation to help further the ministry of the Magnificat Center is greatly appreciated.
